Dr. Brian Yang comes to us with exceptional credentials, obtaining his Bachelors of Arts degree from University of California, Berkeley, majoring in molecular and cellular biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University and his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from University of California, San Francisco, where he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency and anesthesia training.
As well as working with our team, Dr. Yang maintains a private practice in Foster City, and is also an Assistant Clinical Professor for the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UCSF, teaching residents and students dentoalveolar and trauma surgery at San Francisco General Hospital.
With training in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Yang’s primary interests include dentoalveolar and implant surgery (including related grafting procedures), outpatient anesthesia, oral pathology, and facial trauma. He promotes patients safety and comfort in all procedures.
Dr. Yang is Board Certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He also holds membership in the following organizations:
- American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
- American Dental Society of Anesthesiology
- California Dental Association
- American Dental Association
In his spare time, Dr. Yang enjoys taking advantage of all the Bay Area has to offer from the outdoors (hiking, biking, and skiing), to the culinary (cooking as well as partaking in the excellent San Francisco restaurants), and most importantly, spending time with his family.
